Inspired by one of the most breathtaking creations of the House of Fabergé, this magnificent reproduction of the Imperial Basket of Wildflowers Egg captures the elegance and artistry of the original masterpiece.

The original egg was presented by Tsar Nicholas II to Empress Alexandra Feodorovna as an Easter gift in 1901. One of the most intricate Imperial Fabergé Eggs, it is an "egg within an egg." The graceful diamond-studded basket handle forms the outline of the egg itself, resting on a richly enameled guilloché pedestal. The white guilloché enamel egg is adorned with an elegant lattice of diamond motifs and dated 1901. Rising from the open top is a magnificent bouquet of individually crafted enamel flowers in a variety of colors, accented with gold-tone foliage and delicate movable flower buds, creating the appearance of a freshly gathered basket of wildflowers.

This beautiful reproduction limited edition by Fabergé, produced around early 2000, faithfully recreates the design of the Imperial masterpiece using gold-plated sterling silver, Austrian crystals, and exquisite guilloché-style enameling in place of the original's precious gems and materials. Standing approximately 8½ inches (21.5 cm) tall, it is an impressive display piece that celebrates one of Fabergé's finest artistic achievements.

Originally offered for $4,000 when released around 2000, this impressive collectible includes its original Fabergé presentation box and remains a stunning addition to any Fabergé, decorative egg, or fine art collection.

💙 A portion of the proceeds from this sale benefits Egg Art International, helping preserve, promote, and advance the art of egg decorating through education and support for artists around the world.
